A handy tip is to save up and reuse as many of the non damaged threaded fittings as you can.
Getting new ones are expensive, go to pick apart and get a whole heap of the good cheap jap ones.

I'd add that most of those cheap flarers are total junk.
Spend the money on a really nice one if you can - the Sykes Pickavant one is a dream to use.
You can buy the greeny-coloured OEM style coated bundy tube on ebay now too.

I'm going to be doing this soon. Can anyone recommend using steel or copper bundy tubing? I can source both through my work. Also does anyone know what thread a '79 620 will use?

I'm pretty sure you can't run full copper lines got to use copper nickel bundy tubing. Thread should be m10x1 like most Nissans and Datsuns

Sweet as, my supplier does a copper nickel version. Also, just curious will that need to be certified?
