A handy tip is to save up and reuse as many of the non damaged threaded fittings as you can.
Getting new ones are expensive, go to pick apart and get a whole heap of the good cheap jap ones.

I'd add that most of those cheap flarers are total junk.
Spend the money on a really nice one if you can - the Sykes Pickavant one is a dream to use.
You can buy the greeny-coloured OEM style coated bundy tube on ebay now too.

I'm going to be doing this soon. Can anyone recommend using steel or copper bundy tubing? I can source both through my work. Also does anyone know what thread a '79 620 will use?

Sweet as, my supplier does a copper nickel version. Also, just curious will that need to be certified?
