Multi - Club, Christchurch Cruise... 17th January 2010

Post by 427carguy »

This one's gonna be big...hopefully

Over on oldschool.co.nz, we're organising a multi club cruise with NZDatsun.com, Club-K, Oldschool, Datsun owners Club NZ, Vauxhall owners etc etc.. Any club we can get to come out for a cruise...

Just talking about a cruise route and a meet up spot at the moment, here's the link to the original thread...http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewto ... 23&t=20526

What do you guys think we have already got a good responce from oldschool and club-k also any ideas on meeting spots and cruise routes more than welcome

cheers Hogan

its gonna be a multi club run with the likes of oldschool, club-k, nzdatsun and maybe a couple more clubs aswell.

here is the chosen route for the day

Highway 75 from Halswell out to Akaroa, then turn left onto Gebbies Pass Road and cut back thru to Governors Bay then Lyttleton etc.

here it is on google maps
http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=d&sourc ... 87616&z=11" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

will be an awesome road and an aweome day out.

whos annual cruise? oldschool or NZdatsun? we have done part of this cruise a couple times with both clubs, but started in lyttleton and didnt finish in halswel.

a few guys on oldschool wanted some nice fast straights to drive on as well as some twisty stuff. thats why we going thru halswell towards akaroa, but turning off up towards gebbies pass and back to lyttleton

still misses out the best bit of road though. There's a good chance I'll be going on this. As a club, we need to assert our dominance as the coolest kids on the block. :badgrin:

20 was apparently the confirmed number with talk of between 40-60 cars suspected.

one good thing about having a dastun, is that there are lots of different models, and they arent all lowered on modgies or hotwires with primer or matt black paintjobs
