Well, we finally got the brakes all fitted up!
I ended up cutting off the ring from the bottom arms to get the disc's to fit.
Then couldn't get the calipers to fit for ages, as they were hitting the steering.
So I swapped the struts left to right, and bingo!

Just need to go buy a bunch of new bolts now to put it together as final fitment.

So it was that easy, swap the struts and bam, perfect ?

Yeah pretty much.
Only issue might be with the offset of the strut tube of the z31 struts.
Swapping them side to side will give them negative castor so will have to see how much I can wind back in with the castor rods

Z31's run calipers to the front of the car like in your picture so it might be ok ?

I ran r31 struts in the Y both ways around - didnt notice any different in braking or handling.

Z31 front struts run an offset stub axle.
