A15 engine

Post by kartboy »

I'm just wondering if there are any dead or nearly dead A15's out there that would be good for a rebuild. I've got one in my ute but am contemplating getting another to build up so ute isn't off the road for to long.

cheers man,

would probably prefer one in christchurch or within a few hours drive as shipping won't be cheap I wouldn't think. Unless motor is really cheap to make it worth it

A word of advise Hayden, you'd be much much better off to find one that wasn't too bad, pay a bit more, and just freshen it up. If you get a really poked one, a rebuild will be VERY costly.Unless you really want a fully sweet overhualed motor that is. (And don't mind spending the coin)

I may know someone with one, no cam, and is in bits, do you want me to find out.

Or another option is I have one in my car, if you have a a12 I may be interested in swapping..
