Hay guys and girls, thought I should make the effort to join the local club aswell since I only live 20mins (at excessive speed lol) from Datsun City!! Heres a few pxt of my ride/project. Doing the old CA18de conversion on it. I've owned it for nearly 3yrs now, was my daily drive till sept when I got sick of it using a tank of coolant every 10mins (due to a blown head gasket). Started life in Auckland then Hamiton then Tauranga then don't know till I bought it off this asian dude in chch lol. Drove it round for a couple of months after I bought it then did a manual conversion on it with a 910 5spd only to get it impounded
and lose my license the following weekend as I was using full left lock as I turned right at a set of light only to discover there was a FUCKING PIG waiting in the que at red light
. So now I'm going to make a start on it at last (getting sick of seeing everyone elses Fat Dats while mine gathers dust!!), body is straight as and like 90% rust free so just gotta get off my lazy arse and get it legalized with CA shit then slam its arse on the ground
