Anyone know what happened to this?

This was the first 1600 I owned. Bought it as a rough blue stocker and chaged it into this over about a year. Sold it to a guy from Matamata from memory - probably about 15 years ago or so. Just found these photos and was wondering if anyone knew of it or where it wound up.

according to carjam, It was dereged in 2001. (Says it was permanantly taken off the road.) So either it got crashed, rusted away to nothing, or got turned into a race/rally car.

ended up in my nanas next door neighbours hands in whakatane he went off the kaimaiz in it when he fell asleep at wheel

Yep - didn't really know alot about those wheels at the time, got them off a japanese car wreaker in Kelston Auckland - only paid about $250 for the set from memory. They were 14's, fronts were 6" wide but the rears were 7". Now knowing a bit more about it and based on the spoke design I would swear they were Watanabes
