Yeah I getting the auto-bahns reconditioned asap and I'll use them till I can afford some SSR mesh lol. Id like to repaint it an original dark green, black and red interior. Does anyone know where I can get a chin spoiler from or make one from? As far as future plans are concerned, I'm going to make a quad throttle setup, way bigger injectors, bigger valves, cams etc. Can't beat the sound of a well worked N/A engine sitting at the lights coughing and spluttering making the car shake violently while every fucker stares at you thinking your crappy old Datsun is gunna shit itself, that is until the lights change and you put the pedal to the metal and rapidly get to 3rd gear before making it across the intersection :twisted:

FULLY AGREE, just tell that to bart :lol: :lol: :lol:

as far as chin spoilers go, you are probably better off making one yourself. one of the boys on here made one from a mold out of fibreglass, another is making one from steeel and i made one using a boot spoiler from a subaru legacy cable tied on.

its not the greatest, but its cheap and looks ok :lol:

Hello boys and girls, just another quick update. I got my cam covers acid bathed so I can polish them up, exhaust manifold got machined since it was off engine when I bought it, L18 and 5 speed out, so is engine x-member and now to have mods done. Wheels are being reconditioned as I type, have a pair of good condition JDM 610 electric SSS fender mirrors on their way from the Land of the Rising Sun, also a new Mk1 Golf gti 2 piece chin spoiler on its way from the U.K. Going up to chch tomorrow to have a look at early SSS dash. All I need now is a SSS gille and I'll have the look im after :mrgreen:

Lookin good dude! Keep up the hard work

I replicated a mk1 golf lip out of steel. Bit of work to fit the front valance panel tho. I imagine a bit more to fit a 180b front

Does this help answer your question lol. This beast is my inspiration, has quite a nice story behind it too. What I'd like to know is where I'd get some adjustibles for the back like this coupes got!!! Here's the link for those who haven't already read up about this 180B. http://ozdat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=8841" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
