This arrived at my place last night. I heard it coming from about 1/2 a block away! Belongs to a friend of some friends etc.
The owner did most of the work himself, and the workmanship is awesome.
It won best rotary conversion at the last 4 & Rotary Nats.

Yep. Have you seen it around?

I'm not sure of all the details, but will try to find out, although I don't see him very often.
Motor currently runs 12psi and makes 323rwhp. In the next few weeks it's going on the dyno and having the boost turned up to 20psi.
He's run it down the strip at Meremere for the summer drags and the rotary nationals (I think there's a pic in the latest NZPC mag). I can't remember his times, but it was quick despite lack of traction in every gear.
He wants to change the rear suspension and is even considering ditching the IRS in favour of a 4-link set-up and solid axle for drag racing. If anyone has info the best way to improve the rear suspension and diff in a 510, he's open to suggestions.
He's hoping to take it to the 4 & rotary jamboree at manfield next weekend and throw it around the track. And judging by the rubber left on the road in front of my place last night, it should be fun to watch.

yeh, ive known of kerryn for a while.
good to see the body is now fully painted.
the new wheels look pretty good too.
last time id talked to kerryn it still had an open r160 in the back.

Ive had a look at this too.A Guy i know quite well put the cage in it. It is very tidy and that colour is really nice in person too. This cars number plate is only one number off mine, I think he brought the car off the same guy i did or its a real qincidence.

You're probably right. He said the guy he bought it off also had a racecar. It would've been quite a few years ago that he bought it too. He also thought that the rego's might've been mixed up, as it's certed as a '68 but reg'd as a '72.
