getting a big urge to build a lovely set of monkey bars for the interior of this..ie a rolcage
ive just today been offered a really well set up rally car, something that ive been after for years,even before i got my stockcar...
damn near tempted to sell the 510 and all the parts to obtain this much admired beast...but itll never be able to do proper burnouts, just helis..

hey adam it could have had plates and papers if my homework correct 4 door sss had the chassic number on firewall and deluxe nothing

That'd depend on where it was assembled Shane. Would it not?
In my experience, NZ assembled datsuns only had a tag on the forewall, but japanese assembled datsuns had the chassis number stamped on the firewall.
Example, I've seen chassis numbers stamped on 1200 coupes, (and on the odd KB310) but all the sedans just have a dirty old tag.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

Stu's aussie one was stamped on firewall. but all the ones i have owned were just on the tag

are we talkin 1600 adam /? um bart in my experience deluxe 1600s had no chassic no on firewall and sss did 2dr sedan have chassic on firewall and so do coupes poor old deluxe had nothing on firewall
