I just noticed that a lot of the newer people on here probably have no idea who I am and where I came from. So to make things a little less mysterious. I'm from a time before the moment in history that caused there to be two separate Datsun forums in NZ. I currently own 4 cars all from the Prince/Datsun/Nissan stable. Some of you chaps from the old days will know some of these cars and some you won't. I guess.
So... in order of manufacture;
1963 Prince Skyline Super (S21D-4)
1972 Datsun 260C (H230)
1973 Datsun 240K Hardtop (KHGC110)
1981 Datsun Sunny 1.5ZX (KPB310)
So ahh.. yeah. That's me.

Cool thanx Mike, you may want to check the photo of the Hardtop, looks surprisingly like the 260C Sedan.

That's what happens when you're posting from work and get distracted by those pesty customers.
Re: Michael's Crap.
When's the 110 going to be finished?
Re: Michael's Crap.
You're the second person to ask that in as many minutes!
Long way off unless someone buys the H230...

Mr michael
I found those hinges in the weekend so just need to take photos for you if you still need them. One has a spring and the other does not. Pretty sure they are B310 as it came with a bunch of 310 stuff.
What does the 240k need parts wise?

That's awesome, cheers man. I'll have to see what the B310 hinges look like as well, it's a fairly new arena for mecrustywhip wrote:Mr michael

The 240K mostly needs steel. For more information on it, feel free to look here;

The 230 is a stunning example ! Im suprised no one has snapped it up
Does your brother still have the 1200 wagon?

Im visiting the McCleary boys & Co. of infamous Traditional Rod fame.

Yeah man, you're welcome to come and see the cars in the steel/lack thereof. The Prince is kept out of town so not as easy to view, I also ache to see it completed. First things first though. Funny to think how many other cars I've been through since I got the C110 and the money that could have been put into sorting it out vs. Ah well.Dattochriswagon wrote:Im stoked to see your fine collection here on New Zealands own incorperated datsun society!

The only McCleary I've met was an awesome dude, randomly encountered him in town one night and commented that his moustache was awesome and that kicked off into a conversation about cars, etc. Turned out I'd seen/taken photos of his rod. (ooh err?)
Yeah, my brother still has the VB110 as well as the S30Z so I guess that's 6 Datsun vehicles between us.
Re: Michael's Crap.
OMG! Where did you get your yellow headlights on the C110?
I've been trying to find where to buy them for AGES!! Most places look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I want yellow sealed beams...
