Placement of Tachometer for 180b

Hey just wondering if anyone has put a tacho in their 180b and where they put it?
would replacing the clock for it look OK?

as long as its not right on top of the dash, it should look fine. nothing ticks me off more than a huge tacho right in your line of view on top of the dash

Particularly with a big as shift light, big bore and Auto!

I mounted my tacho on the steering column, offset so that it fit just below and in between the speedometer and the clock. It's a good visible position and doesn't block anything else. My tacho is and oldschool type though, and is not as huge as some of the new ones.

i have one on top of my dash, with internal light and i dont mind it at all, but the needle floats a bit is that normal? it got wired in by electrician
