Bart came over on friday afternoon and removed two bolts that were snapped inside my bonnet came out easy as. Also Bart installed my LSD center into my diff housing. Thought we ran into a big problem as the center had heaps of slack inside the housing but just turned out that i left one of the big shims in the bag Fitted up perfectly once that was figured out. I painted up the housing, rear cover and input shafts to make it look a bit tidier also gold zinced the bolts on the cover and the drain plugs. Once i get the 180 back it will be going straight back in for good Just need to get the rear mount sorted and the back end is pretty much done.

I told Greg I'd add updates on here of the wiring progress of his car, but have been slack lol.
I got the intake Manifold all bolted up for him (minus 2 bolts missing which he is going to source), then get to work installing the CA18 loom that I had previously culled out of unnecessary wires and started checking all the lengths, and re-wrapping it up.
the ECU wiring is now mostly complete, just need Greg to find some plugs for his SR20 TPS, since its different to the CA, and also find a Resistor pack.
Then will need to wait for the hot pipe of the intercooler and the filter e.t.c to be installed in its final location, so I can do the last of the wiring for the MAF.
The starter/alternator wiring is about half done, just need Greg to get me a round terminal lug to fit an M8 bolt so I can tidy that away.
Inside the car, I've cleaned up and reinstalled the loom that goes from the cabin to the engine bay (need that relay enclosure thing too Greg), and had a quick look at the dash wiring.
The car will have a SSS dash put in it, but the standard dash loom is quite different, so we will need to find one of them too (anyone got one for sale?)
As a side note, I also properly mounted your brake booster for you too lol.
Might add some pics later.

dan, are you needing only the dash panel loom, or entire cabin loom?
i may have one here, is it the round gauge (early) or square gauge (late) SSS dash?
as its a sedan, i dont think the round type ones fit the crash pad.
and are the loom connector pins flat spade type or round pin? they changed depending on year.
edit: i still have a SSS console here to send down. just been hell busy. let me know what you need, as i have some bits to send to lewis too, so might be easier to send all at once (if i have them)...

Its a round gauge sss dash. Looks like it should fit no problems if you compare it to the original.
the sss dash had 2 round plugs that connect to the dash.....same style as 1600s but 2 of them.
At this stage I think I only need the dash loom itself.

Ill try and get someone to weld up those pipes pretty soon too. Craig im still mega keen on that console keep me updated with postage and all that. My garage is a bit of a mess at the moment from the quakes yesterday but will tidy it all up in a few days and get all the bits you need Dan. Got some spark plugs too!

Time for an update! Its been a while.
Bought a 14" electric fan for my VL radiator, and Dan so nicely attached it for me Got a thermo fan switch as well, I'll be going to A1 after work to get them to weld a fitting in so it can be fitted.
Scored a 260c gas pedal assembly from Brock as I seemed to have misplaced mine havn't test fitted it yet but hope it works all good.
Also got the fuel sender from the 260c Brock and John wrecked as it has the extra sensor for the low fuel light. The strange thing is that my car is all wired up for it the loom, dash etc all it needed was the sender with the extra wire on it! 610 on left 260c on right
Scored a 180B SSS center console and SSS loom off vegie earlier this year too got a rough pic of it in the car looks pretty good!
Have a magnetic sump plug to put in when I'm at Dans next
Was over at Dan's with Bart on monday, wiring is pretty much done! Even got to see all my electrics work which was mega awesome as I havnt seen anything work since I started pulling it apart 5 years ago and it was sitting for a while before I got it. Alarm is pretty much finished and its rather loud..
So next on the list is fuel lines.... anyone keen to lend a hand with that??? Will be able to start it once fuel system is done as well as a few other things
