Yea hes a good sort, that silvia of his is gonna be boss!
unlimitedpower wrote:Just out of interest how does the front of the diff mount?
Or is that an area that hadn't been completed when the photo was taken?
Front mounts are on in the last series of pics but not the pics with the diff head attached.Just a couple of tapped holes take care of that
datso wrote:You Kiwis show the Dingos here how to do it over and over again, love it!
Amazing thread, just a question was the front crossmember modded or built from scratch??
Nick_M you are smarter than those Kea parrots that pulled apart my rental car when on holiday there!
Front crossmember was scratch built,Nick_m is a real champ but he knows how to charge...I had to give him my sister for all the work he put in,not a bad deal for me really

It is just all part of his master plan. He probably just wants me as his brother in law so he doesnt have supply me with bourbon next time he wants work done. He is dutch after all!

You did this to yourself Nick,I should be charging you!
Yeah! got the subframe powdercoated, chucked it under the car added the arms, hub carrier, hub, disc, caliper, wheel.Bloody hell,it might just work.
wheel will be about 10mm higher than this, and it still has tons of room around the tub

The second biggest reason (after mad camber) for going to IRS over solid rear was actually knowing where my wheels are, with solid rear the left wheel is manipulated by the right and vice versa so running absolute maximum width rims is tricky.with the IRS i can run 1.5inch wider wheels and its all on the outside!phuck yeah, more dish.
