Choice will text you tonight.brocky41 wrote:Pretty sure we got one here dude ill check today - is from the blue car again.
update on the car.
I got head gasket sorted Saturday torqued down and every thing back on. got excited and tried starting it and nothing. It just keeps turning over and over not even sounding like its going to kick into life
As far as i can tell everything that i pulled off has been put back on, and I've exhausted my knowledge on trying to fix it as i know little about these motors.
any ideas what it could be??
Possibly time for a engine conversion as i have a feeling these L-Series don't like me.
Cheers
Nathan

Check your firing order and make sure leads are round right way, also throw new plugs in l series can be bitches for eating plugs.

Stick a timing light over it.

Timing light is flashing in pretty much the right spot when you are cranking it? Are the plugs wet when you take them out?
There's only 3 things you need for combustion and it sounds like you've got them all so that would make me think the timing is wrong.
