I love comments like these - you haven't driven or been in my car so how would you know.

Rusty, it handled fine with uprated front springs etc in the r31 front struts, doing the right upgrades in the right places will always help - probably needed a bigger sway bar etc for the track (used to roll around a little).

My number is in the side bar on all posts - cheers

Thats what i thought originanlly - but without the use of the extramaely bulky and overwieght SR20det gearbox there was only about 15-20kg difference.

Ill be using a short LD28 gearbox at this stage which i know will be strong enough. One of my freinds mates runs that black mark 2 escort at the drags in Auckland with close to 600hp and sidestepping the clutch for a full season on slicks with an LD gearbox it only wore out a couple of syncros (gears were fine) and that thing ran nines :burnout: :burnout: .

As i wont be that brutal i should get even more reliability from it. I know it'll be heavy but it will be a fun/ keep me on my toes kind of car to drive, and i love taking passengers for a scare at the track too. ;) ;)
