Yeah I heard they were all pretty shabby there and left when they no longer can drive. Love that green one with its window sliding into the boot ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

this blue 2door one needs a few touches, its formula is all wrong.im sure it could become a head turner with the right understanding.

Re: 1975 710 2 door sedan
Been a while since I posted an update,
I decided I was going to cleanup the ugly corner of the engine bay were the battery is located. I decided to relocate the battery.
Here is a dark photo of what I started with.
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6068/6107617093_c0a7030c77_z.jpg)
I got my spot weld drill and removed the tray, there was not much paint under the tray and a little surface rust.
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6080/6108165144_3d177b73aa_z.jpg)
I removed the rust, welded some holes, straightened out the well and sprayed a couple coats of primer.
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6084/6108164162_62e9ca62a3_z.jpg)
I blocked out the primer ready for paint.
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6185/6108163830_63865b7dfb_z.jpg)
Fresh paint !
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6090/6110464651_86ef4de2b2_z.jpg)
For more access to inner fender well I removed the radiator, this seemed like the perfect time to replace the water pump and remove the overly loud clutch fan.

![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6199/6108164492_b58d23f819_z.jpg)
Going back together with a couple upgrade's
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6190/6118420407_ab119b47d0_z.jpg)
All I need to do is repaint the radiator and put it all back together.

That engine bay looks 100% better now. Is that the Futo Fab alternator adjuster? It looks very nice.

Thanks, as for the adjuster I don't remember were I got it. It is homemade and been sitting in my tool box, it is off an older project.broke wrote:That engine bay looks 100% better now. Is that the Futo Fab alternator adjuster? It looks very nice.
Finally got my new front marker light's, a set of 140J light's to replace the US spec one's.

Re: 1975 710 2 door sedan
I have not put an update up in a while so here go's.
Here is what the car looked like last time after all the upgrades. US spec 1974 Coupe bumpers, 140j grille, rear finally lowered.
![Image](http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6062/6144828067_538096ee35_z.jpg)
But it still was not the look I wanted, so I started looking for more international body and trim parts. I found a set of fenders and a NOS front panel in Japan. I worked out buying all the parts the hard part was getting them shipped to me because of there size.
Here are the parts,

![Image](http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3669/9153996695_127c1bc661_z.jpg)
I know these parts are common for a 140j in NZ but are non existent here in the US. It then took a good 5 to 7 months to get them shipped to the us, it was do to there size that it was so hard to ship them for a descent price.
While trying to get the parts out of Japan this happen !

Thanks to my New Zealand connection at least the rear of the car was looking WAY better, but I was still missing something.

This is the first time I have seen your thread, and I like the result. Very nice.
Parts are always expensive from japan, but guards, getting them to arrive in good shape would be very difficult and expensive I would imagine.
How do they even ship/package a guard?
