Parts are always expensive from japan, but guards, getting them to arrive in good shape would be very difficult and expensive I would imagine.

How do they even ship/package a guard?
I ended up finding a container shipment from a local guy that is a wheel importer, I ended up paying way less then any of the quote's I got. It was a bunch of leg work but it all worked out in the long run.

So I ended up getting my shipment from Japan exactly a week before the largest local Japanese car show of the year. So I had to really get to work if the car was going to be at JCCS with it's transformed front clip. Here are some random photo's of straightening out the my newly imported used parts.

I did not have enough time to finish the paint work so I put everything into the same blue sealer I had used on the last fender replacement.

I was so busy I did not get a lot of photo's of the different stage's of assembly, but here are a couple from the show. I did make it !

Here is the new look, with its split front blinker's that were given to me by a close friend. He had them in a box for 18 years, they came off a 140j in a small wrecking yard near were he was visiting his relative's in England. I know I could have maybe got some new ones but I like the story. I have been collecting parts for a while from all over ( even New Zealand ) it is nice to see them all finally on the car.

Nice car, I couldn't help laughing at your comment about the indicators. In NZ people go all gooy over their Orange lenses from the states.

You are correct, orange front lens were used in Japan. So all orange was JDM as well as USDM .

ps. Yes, I am the guy that was trading parts out with you. The car would not look this good without your help !
