Find me some Ca16 cams and I'll use them! Ca18 ex cam on the inlet side need adjustable cam gears to get timing perfect so I have read on the interwebs anyway

Right! Head gasket, tensioners and cam belt acquired. Appco didn't have any head bolts and Nissan couldn't get any til monday but BNT by my work are getting some in overnight. Sunday is going to be a busy day!

have that service manual ready Greg.
A printed copy of the pages you need would be ideal.
Bring a bunch of Scrapers,scotch bright, brake cleaner and like an old sheet or something. You wont just be banging into it either, prep is key for Cylinder head installs

Just got a call from BNT head studs didn't make the overnight courier But that's ok James has informed me there is still a lot of prep work to do and should have them on monday.

Got the block all prepped ready for head installation next weekend. Gave #4 piston a smoothing over so no rough spots now will hopefully be ok Unbolted water pump just to have a nosey and shit there was a lot of gunk in there! Looks like it might be the original pump got all the crap out of the block and will get a new one this week. All going well head will be back on next Sunday yay.
