Chrome trim removal question - 260C

Post by kicker »

Hi guys anyone know how to remove this piece of chrome moulding from a 330 260C?
I've got the rest of that section off and taken the single screw out holding it but it won't come off and I don't want to force it until I know how it comes off.

This bit here, it's the rear part of the trim that goes over the doors and is attached to the body.

Cheers

Turns out it has a couple bolts holding it on from the inside of the car.

Yip was just about to say the two bolts from the inside - you have to remove the rear "c" piller cover to get to them.

If you snapped them off i do have spares :D :D

260Cs have pretty much everything bolted or screwed down - even the sill trims have hidden bolts holding the end caps on lol

Na no paint just yet, was investigating a little bit of rust.
I might grab a replacement off you though, I got it off safe then managed to break the plastic cap on the bottom edge haha
Actually there's a few things I'm looking for now, I'll send ya a PM
