Maybe ask Garth what he used on Craig's 620?

I have some hard plastic nylon stuff that I could make some bushes out of. Or would that be a bad idea being too solid?

You might experience more vibration through the cab with sold mounts?

Yeah, thats what i was thinking. It could also put too much stress through the floor.. I might just go to a suspension shop and see if they can dig anything up that may work.

Progress update on the cars, just finishing up some wiring for the 620 and hopefully will get her started up. Had to change the fuel line to the right side with a bit of bending for a temporary line. The engine is in the pulsar with the new T25 turbo fitted, but theres still heaps of work to be done before it will be running. Found some RB injectors at pick a part which fit straight in place of the old ones for way better fuel delivery. The plugs have to be re wired for the new injectors because the old ones dont quite fit. We did a full rebuild of the E15ET before lifting it in as well. Next step is fitting the radiator, we bought an S13 alloy one from trade me which is the closest fitting one we could find. Gonna use some exhaust piping for the intercooler cause its heaps cheaper. Also need to wire in a new fuse box for the fuel pump and fans etc with a relay after the ignition switch to accommodate for the high current draw from the fans and pump. Will hopefully get some photos up soon cheeeers :deadhorse:

Got a little bit of work done on the ute over the weekend. Put all the windows in, with new seals for the windscreen and rear window. Need to find some new rubbers for the door window tracks but at least its semi watertight.

Also tried starting it for the first time but it wouldn't get any spark. One of the previous owners has done some of the worst wiring I have ever seen, wires cut and rejoined, wires cut and then left, blown glass fuses that have had wire wrapped around them to bypass them, I've found three wires twisted together then taped with packaging tape haha. And that's just from one day of trying to diagnose the problem..

Some sort of wiring diagram for an A15 or similar would really help me out so I can attempt to undo the neglect from a previous life.

On another note, I have just received some new spring for the back. They are from a 4WD 720.. So if the internet is correct, they should lower the back about 2". And be safer than running two leafs in the spring packs (another good idea from the last owner). The back is so soft at the moment, just standing on it makes the springs arch the wrong way.

Thats all from me at the moment, cheers

After a lot of searching I managed to find some factory cab and deck mounts off ebay out of Australia. only cost like $30 bucks for the lot but the guy wouldn't ship to NZ so I had to get them shipped to a friend in aus and then sent here. pretty happy with the quality of them though

You'll really need a 620 wiring diagram to tell you which wires go where. (The colours of them anyway) Then you can adjust the length to suit the bits needing wiring on the A15.
