They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............
Re: 620 ute and n10 Pulsar
I tried one of the libraries in town but they didn't have one. Will try the others..
Soo made some pretty good progress over the weekend.
Got some guards bent up by a mate of mine, they are 2.5mm propellor plate and should hold up to being above the deck height.
Also got some leaf springs from a 720. Gave them a clean and a paint up.
I then removed the old 2 leaf springs with questionable packers on the ubolts
The hardest part of the install was removing the steel insert from the 620 spring eye bushes
Then inserting them in the 720 ones. They slide right in once you lube the hole
And installed,
They use all the same shackles and rear bushings..
It now sits about 10mm lower than with the old 2 leaf ones and isnt soft as tits.
I also sanded out the rust and painted the back of my front bumper.
And put it on
I also found these at my work and decided they would make good cab mounts, so I used them. Just need to cut off a little bit of excess thread in the foot well and they will be perfect.
Also some progress with Fergies n10
Just sorting out the wiring loom and trying to make room for the radiator, intercooler and all the piping.
