Rung Car Aid today asking about my engine,Paul said it be done in 2 to 3 weeks.Thats going to cost around $800 to $1000.That includes machining out the block to suit stroker pistons,Redrill L20 conrods to suit the larger gudgeon pins,New oil rings, bottom end and conrod bearings.A little more than i wanted to pay,But thats the car game.I should be use to that by now.

Well I picked up my stuff today. There's nothing like having shiny bits of engine parts in your bedroom :) I don't think Missy will be very pleased.

You can get Cometic ones from the States. The Kameari/HKS/Nismo ones are hard to come by and very expensive now.

Yes im getting a cometic one from the states costing less than $300 I'll have to wait two weeks for it.Now I can get the head ported and get a cam reground. I'll start putting it all together next weekend. Here's a photo of the stroke out L28 block.I was thinking with the L26 motor that I have no use for any more.I was thinking of putting on a turbo on it as its not worth any thing.

A lot of machine work needed, Also included new rings, new bearings, new gudgeon pins, But most of the cost was labour, At the end of the day a should have a bloody good motor that wants to rev nicely I HOPE.
