l18 into 1600....some advice

Would you sway the driveshaft for one of your gearbox Xmembers? Mine was butchered by the neanderthols who owned the car before me.

not 100% sure if the spare is a datto one, just looks abit different, will check tomorrow and let you know though.....

found a few parts in the boxes are actually toyota bits,theyv been dumped

fitting a l18 will need stock 1600 sump and oil pickup with cross member in stock position .... tell us the number on side off gearbox man ......sounds like you got a 71b gearbox this should fit your l18

i cant seem to find a number on the box anywhere... theres a 6 by the looks..
where would the number be?

spare crossmember looks like a mazda one... one side is flat and the other side raises up then angles down sort of like a s4 rx7...

has it got a fork,shifter,slave and throw out bearing?
