Just get some flanges laser, or water jet cut from Aluminum, and get the TIG'd on to the CA18 sub manifold.
They don't call me the man with the rubber arm for nothing you know.............

I'd probably get the flanges on both sides cut, then Aluminium tubes welded between them. You never know how nicely the factory flange would weld. (I had a terrible time with an SC14 discharge manifold)

Re: WTB ca18de custom weber 4 port inlet manifold
Just to let peeps know if you are making such a manifold its only possible on the 8 port head
The 4 port head has totally and incorrect location of ports in this area and I only found out
too late when I tried to place the weber flanges on.
There is a big bias on the 4 port head and makes it impossible to use the primary manifold.

were you trying to mate the factory inlet flange to a weber flange?datso wrote:Just to let peeps know if you are making such a manifold its only possible on the 8 port head

if so could you get a new head flange cut and weld tubes between the flanges as bart describes
Re: WTB ca18de custom weber 4 port inlet manifold
yep will have to be all custom pretty much
will use factory flange to make a new one but ports are 62mm x 44mm which are massive ports
and the oval shape will be hard to taper into custom tubing but have no other choice as 4 port
heads dont come around often and worthwhile to hold onto.
